Do most insurers cover glass under comprehensive or is this usually separate coverage?

Yes, glass is covered under the comprehensive portion of your insurance policy, but because of your comprehensive deductible, you may have to pay part of the bill. Many insurance companies will, for a slight increase in premiums, eliminate the deductible on glass.
