If there is an accidental death in a household by a member of that household, what will a homeowners policy cover?

Dear J.,
Jayna Neagle, a spokesperson for the Insurance Information Institute, says that while your homeowners policy does include liability and medical payments coverage, this applies only to visitors to your home, not to people residing in your home.
So, to answer your question, your homeowners policy won't cover anything.
