Prudential documents online
In December 1997, the Florida Department of Insurance made public a collection of documents regarding its investigation of Prudential Insurance Co. of America. The documents included internal Prudential audits and memos, and testimony by several former Prudential employees.
Insure.com plans to publish many of the documents on its site.
Here's what's currently available. Other documents will be added in the near future.
Some of these documents are quite lengthy, often spanning more than 100 printed pages. These electronic versions can take a while to download.
Phoenix West: the 'investigative memorandum' -- An internal memo detailing the 1995 investigation into several agents in the Phoenix West Agency in Phoenix, Ariz. The investigation found the agents had churned customers and their supervisors had largely failed to take any action.
