Earlier in July, the Prudential Insurance Co. of America agreed to pay the largest fine ever imposed on a U.S. insurer following a 30-state task force report that alleged the Newark company's life insurance agents used deceptive sales practices. Consumer refund details will be determined in the coming weeks.
