I am separated from my husband, who is currently the beneficiary of my life insurance policy. If I want to change the beneficiary to my children, can I do so without my husband's permission?

Yes, you may change the beneficiary without getting permission from your husband. To make the change, contact your insurance agent or your insurance company's customer service center.
