  • They are great in explaining benefits.
  • They are expensive and hard to work with.

  • When a serious illness arrises, they do not have any sort of program that can get you a dedicated agent. You are forced to call the general line and go through the entire background story each time you are required to call in. The time it takes to do this is wasteful of both my time and theirs.

  • Broadest coverage at the highest price. But, on net, not that much more expensive than the cheaper policies and, if ever hit hard, would win big.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield is the only provider my company offers. If there was an opt out program I would choose it. On a $1,100 emergency room visit BCBS paid 150 bucks. That doesnt seem fair.
  • I've never been denied coverage, so that's pretty good.
