In 1959, the Georgia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company was founded to represent farmers and rural Georgians who were having difficulties finding insurance coverage. The company has expanded in the last 46 years to become the state's largest domestic property-casualty insurance companies employing over 550 insurance agents.
