Consumers can compare quotes from over 30 auto insurance and 20 home insurance providers. Upon viewing a quote, the consumer will be contacted by one of InsWeb's carrier partners or local agents to complete the transaction offline.

All home insurance policies available from InsWeb companies include coverage for instances of fire, theft or vandalism, among other perils. Some natural disasters, such as floods and earthquakes, are generally not included in a standard policy. Costumers may want to add additional coverage if they believe their home is at risk for natural disasters not covered by a basic policy. Liability protection pays for legal defense involving lawsuits resulting from estate damage or bodily harm caused by the client or his/her family members.
