Founded in 1979, Safety Insurance Company, a subsidiary of
Safety Insurance Group, provides property/casualty insurance
exclusively in Massachusetts. Controlling 11 percent of each
market, the company is one of the top three private passenger
automobile and commercial automobile insurer in Massachusetts.
Homeowners, dwelling fire, personal umbrella and business-owner
insurance policies are also available through Safety.

Aiming to provide the highest level of protection to
their customers, Safety offers a variety of coverages to their
policyholders. For its private passenger car policies and
commercial car policies, Safety offers coverage for bodily injury and
property damage, no-fault personal injury coverage for vehicle
occupants and physical damage coverage for collisions and other
perils. For commercial car policies only (policies covering
vehicles used for business purposes), Safety also supports endorsements
that broaden coverage over and above what is offered on the standard
form.
