Some states impose no liability on hosts in these situations, while others limit liability to injuries that occur at the host’s home. Still others extend liability if the person who drinks alcohol at your party is killed, injured, or causes harm to others. In some cases, you could be held responsible for others’ medical bills, vehicle repairs, lost time from work or wrongful deaths.
