GEICO is targeting young adults with a new website offering financial guidance to those who have recently left the nest.
On Your Own provides information and tips about car insurance, apartment hunting, buying versus leasing vehicles, credit cards, identity theft, renters insurance and saving for retirement.
"With the increase of student loans and credit card debt, it's important for young adults to learn how to be financially responsible," Mike Campbell,
GEICO's chief financial officer, Mike Campbell, said in a press statement. "Now is the time for them to start practicing good financial habits and getting the right insurance in place so that if something happens, they are protected."
