Which states require drivers to buy liability insurance?
All states except New Hampsire and Wisconsin require drivers to purchase a minimum leavel of car insurance, which varies by state. Even in New Hampshire and Wisconsin, if you don't buy car insurance you must provide proof of financial responsibility.
