My dad purchased life insurance for my mom over 30 years ago from this company. He passed 3 years later. At 78, she does not understand anything about insurance, however, she does understand when she gets a bill and a letter telling that she owes $170 and she will need to start paying $70 a month. She found out that her $13 premium went up over 3 years ago the company has been taking the extra from her cash value. Now that has run out and you she had to pay more. I think a letter should have been sent 3 years ago letting her know she had reached the age and the insurance would be going up. She should have been notified and given an option. Now, she has to cancel the policy and has no cash value.
