Selective Auto’s history can be traced back to 1926 when Daniel L.B. Smith opened Selective Risk Insurance Company in a New Jersey general story. Today, that company has expanded into Selective Insurance Group, a primary hold group in 22 eastern and Midwestern states with seven customer focused property and casualty insurance companies. Among these companies is Selective Auto Insurance Company of New Jersey, the organization’s automobile insurance affiliate insurer.

NASDAQ: SIGI, is a regional insurance holding company based in Branchville, New Jersey, and provides property and casualty insurance products and insurance services to customers in the United States through its subsidiaries. The Insurance Operations segment writes commercial lines and personal lines property and casualty insurance through independent insurance agents in 22 states in the Eastern and Midwestern regions of the United States.
To provide protection against financial losses to their policyholders, Selective offers a variety of coverage options in their car insurance policies.
